Established in 2003 with a vision to create a new style of unisex hairdressing Taylor Taylor London changed the face of hair salons from rather clinical, functional places to award-winning interior designed havens, complete with longer appointment times, world-class hairstylists, a free cocktail bar, and a truly welcoming atmosphere.
Taylor Taylor London is recognised for its unique blend of both edge and elegance and with our modern and relaxed style, we have developed a global reputation in both the hairdressing industry and the interior design world. Our education team offers fully bespoke training programs to many other hairdressers with teaching courses that can be uniquely tailored to any level of experience in any country in the world.
Our international stylists and color technicians are some of the top creative talents in the world and have been hand-selected for their mix of individual styles and exceptional ability. You can find their photographic work in magazines such as Vogue, ID, Elle, and Stylist and during the season they will be behind the scenes at all the major catwalk shows in Paris, Milan, New York, and London.
The Shoreditch Salon
Resembling the Flat Iron building in New York – and with all the glamour inside, too – our Commercial Street premises is our flagship award-winning unisex hair salon; located in Shoreditch, East London. Just a stone’s throw from Spitalfields Market. Inspired by the faded grandeur of 18th century France, Commercial Street’s sumptuous Rococo interior is filled with vintage pieces and period finds, to stimulate your senses and make your time at our biggest luxury hair salon in East London a magical experience.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our hairdressing team, who will offer you a cocktail from our authentic studded bar. Then you will be invited to recline upon a vintage chaise longue, where you can soak up the ambiance and watch our celebrity hairstylists in action, giving a taste of what’s to come with your very own styling to follow: or if you want to explore, our team will guide you through each individually designed room in the salon, so that you will feel as though you have found your very own exclusive members’ club.
From the Grand Cutting Room – lit with oversized Murano glass chandeliers to the subterranean golden washrooms, beneath the darkened staircase – we know you will have a visit to Commercial Street that will be truly inspiring for both your hair and your heart.
