We understand the importance of skin testing before any colour services. We take every precaution to ensure that our clients are safe during their visit. Here's what you need to know about our skin testing process. Skin testing is a legal requirement under Section 3 of the Health and Safety at Work Act. The aim of the skin test is to make sure that our clients do not have an allergic rection to any of the products that we use within the salon. A skin test must be carried out at least 48 hours prior to your appointment with us. Failure to do so will result in us not being able to carry out the service on your hair. If you haven't had you hair coloured within the salon within the last 6 months, we must carry out another skin test to make ensure no reaction to the product takes place. We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours notice for any appointment cancellations. This allows us to offer the time to another client. For bookings over £50, a 50% deposit may be required in advance. This deposit will be deducted from your final bill. However, the deposit will be non-refundable if you cancel with less than 24 hours notice or do not rebook. Thank you for your understanding.

At Scissors, only one promotional discount can be applied per visit. Please note that Senior Citizens and Students already receive a special rate, so additional discounts do not apply. We also reserve the right to end any promotion at our discretion, without prior notice. Thank you for your understanding.
