Established in 2015; LORD HAIR SALON is the creation of Thomas Ferry and Jamie-John Holder by a joint desire to bring together luxury hairdressing and honest service from a fantastic team within beautiful surroundings.
At LORD we are proud to be an independent and individual business in the beautiful city of Winchester. When you enter our salon you won’t find a production line; we pride ourselves on giving a unique and personal experience to every one of you.
As one of our valued clients you will find yourself welcomed with a smile and a glass of fizz because, well, it’s 5 o’clock somewhere, right?! While you are waiting for your stylist to work their magic; picture relaxing in our deep comfortable chairs before gliding to the reclining wash basins for your pressure point head massage complete with Organic aromatherapy products to help soothe your stresses away.
Our separate lounges and quiet seating areas with complimentary WiFi have been designed with you in mind so you can carry on working in your home from home whilst your colour develops; better yet just forget the pressures of daily life and curl up with a coffee and your current book. We’ve filled the rooms with beautiful blooms and verdant plants to purify and enhance the senses to help you drift away, but don’t worry; we’ll come to find you when it’s time for your blow-dry!
We’ve hand-chosen every product we use and sell because we believe not only in beautiful hair but also in keeping our planet beautiful. We use 100% organic and vegan shampoos and styling products so our conscience is as clear as our Sonos background music. Following our recent renovation of the historic Marcia Gray building on Winchester’s Georgian Southgate Street, we’ve chosen recycled wood products to build the salon, eco-technology to heat our water, minimal plastics, and recycle all waste where possible.
Equality is also of paramount importance to us at LORD and we are proud to offer services and colour ranges to suit all budgets, lifestyles and of course, face shapes!  We are more than happy to talk you through all your options and ideas; don’t be afraid to bring pictures!
